About AR PLUS - The Asbestos Removal Company
AR Plus is the nickname derived from our new brand: Asbestos Removal + Ceiling Restoration Specialists and our new Painting & Plastering division. For the previous 25 years known as Ceiling Restorations, AR Plus is based in the centrally positioned Barkes Corner (Tauranga), from here we service all the Bay of Plenty and Waikato districts (including Coromandel, Taupo and over to the East Coast to Gisborne).

Founded by Jarrod Mckeown in 1995, and during that time has undertaken a significant number of high-profile commercial projects as well as thousands of residential assignments in the Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Auckland and North Island areas on an ongoing basis.
Under the direction of Jarrod, AR Plus has established itself as a proud industry leader in the asbestos treatment industry, earning the reputation for providing exceptional quality services at affordable prices to its customers, all while keeping them safe and adequately informed about the dangers of asbestos.
Over the years, the organisation culture at AR Plus has consciously evolved around safety being a core value, which is further augmented by our well-developed Health and Safety policies, AS/NZS 4801 : 2001 Health & Safety Management Systems Certification and by ensuring all our staff are adequately trained, undergo regular health checks and hold required licences and certificates pertinent to the work they perform.
In addition to being safety conscious, the organisation is also very aware of the dangers of hazardous waste on the environment and ensures safe transportation, tracking and disposal of all asbestos-containing material (ACM) including contaminated soils.
