Asbestos Removal & Ceiling Restoration

Popcorn ceilings aren’t just outdated — they can pose serious health risks if they contain asbestos. The homeowners at this Pitau Road property needed theirs removed urgently, and AR Plus was called in to carry out a complete ceiling restoration.

As this was a Class A asbestos removal, our team set up a double-lined enclosure to safely capture all asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). Once the asbestos was removed by our licensed removalists and visual clearance was confirmed, we dismantled the enclosure and disposed of the contaminated waste at a certified Class A landfill.

Our plastering team then completed a full skim coat and sand to a level 4 paint finish, followed by a professional repaint to restore the ceiling. The 50m² restoration was completed within five days, and the final technical clearance was easily achieved.
