Commercial Asbestos Removal

AR Plus was contracted to complete a major asbestos removal project at the Countdown site in Taupō. This complex job required months of careful planning and coordination, working alongside other contractors and stakeholders to ensure the site could be safely redeveloped.

Our scope included:

• A 1,000m² environmental clean, removing hazardous dust and residue
• Full removal of sprayed asbestos insulation
• An 800m² asbestos roof removal, followed by beam cleaning pre- and post-removal to ensure no contamination remained

Despite the scale and challenges, our licensed team completed the work to strict health and safety standards, maintaining clear communication with site managers throughout the project.
